At the PMI® Research Conference, a paper was presented that reports on a study conducted to measure the value of Project Management. What I have seen so far is pretty high-level, but I look forward to reading the results. If notihing else, this study will help to provide a starting place for others to continue this work.

Practically, I think we all realize that the value of Project Management is something that can't be measured, and will differ to some extent from one organization to the next.
